HQ Ken: Takanari Mao

► Happy go lucky- a dim-witted baka who's upbeat, outgoing , and free spirited guy who liked to play around to the point that people will get annoy with him. 
► Passionate- Very when come to volleyball. When come to matches, he become very serious and self-absorbed to it. (and very fierce looking like dem shark sharping its teeth..wait wat as well ok not really)
► Imaginative- to the point it's not making any sense/bizarre.  He has bad habit of talking alone, people thought he was crazy but he claims that he got too much imagination going to his brain so he have to let it out once in a while. He also bad habit over-thinking too much so you often seen him laying on the floor crying as he reflect his own life for 38974983743 times.
► Charismatic-  Only works if he's standing still , doing nothing or simply toss him on court. ROFL
► Friendly- His friendliness often mistaken as flirtatious for most of the time. But won't hesitate to flirt the managers, a.k.a every managers.
► Hard-worker/Ambitious- When come to something that he like/feel needed to, he will train/practice hard just to achieve it. He may started to complain and cry a lot for it but It won't stop him from pushing forward. This apply to studying as well, so he's actually clever from what he's look like.
► Childish/Playful - Young at heart, very cheeky male (despite being a coward ded) and he even still sleeping with his 16 year old plushie no matter where is it. 
► Coward / Crybaby - get scared at almost everything.  andddd he also won't hesitate to cry unless doing the things that he likes and passionate about (whether if it's appropriate or not.)
► Full of expressions. -especially when he's crying. yep. 
► Easily excited- On almost everything. Example- Spike a ball even if it's horrible or sloppy, he will crazily clap his hands just for you. o<-< (you may bully him by making him excited and toss him scary stuff np)

He has varies range of skills and technique to make up the weakness that he has and thanks to his vivid imagination, it helped a lot on how to get against different kind of people through different situation, thus making a lot of tricks to manipulate the court around. He's also determined , motivated and strong wills, despite of his lack of everything- he tried his best to block/spike whenever he got a chance and won't mind chasing at one end to another end( his stamina helps). He's a good memorizer as well, able to study well on what technique people use against them so that he able to use it against other too .(however...he's bad at implementing it at many and many tries)

One major weakness that he has is being too serious and self-absorbed on the court especially upon meeting a person whom he think/found interesting. This lead him to  less likely person to be cooperate with so people have to constantly reminded him to snap it out from that bubble even though he's always wanted to play with friends.  He also more likely breaking the rules alot especially when he got the adrenaline rush inside him. He's quite slow learner- It's took him ages to learn and get used to certain technique or skills which make him still on low-average when come to passing/receiving and serving. His jumping is a poop, it's like saddest thing ever (along with his speed while his power is average more less) .Although he may think fast but due to his sad speed so he usually have less chance spiking the toss that higher than his jump but hey he's still working on it. He's a type of person who easily forget the things that he think is not necessary to remember anymore (but it's actually important. whoops)

Maybe he needs a partner, just to help him to practice more. He thought. So every day, he tried seek for any kind of help just to practice but most of them are busy and could offer little time. That's okay, he told to himself. He can find other solution, not a problem. He can avoid from dragging Maede along, because he doesn't like to drag his best buddy along. But in the end, he decided to pull that friend of his to help him on practising because why not? plus Maede did nothing which made more reason to drag him along...right? of course. Every day, he pulled that little friend of his although it was hard and for most time, either Mao cried or wanted to give up but he forced his way(ofc dragging Maede along) through it. Eventually he learnt the fun of playing games together especially when come to the thing that they like.

After Through many hard work and hardship, Mao finally able to catch the club's eyes-especially with his capability during the match. So Mao managed to get position as setter during that year. Everything went well until he finished his middle school.

He went to the Sharks high school where he heard it was very well known one but lost its glory look time ago. However, he didn't mind that as he long he is able to continue to play along with new friends that await for him although the actual reason is simply because it's near to his house and also there's volleyball club in that school. Moreover, his family couldn't afford him to the good school. cough . With the new school, he took the challenge as wing spiker because of the thrill of spiking make him excited and also due to unable to spike a lot during his previous year. (and he still wont get a chance to spike a lot rofl)

• Fun fact about his family: His father was pro swimmer while his mother was into calligraphy and kendo instructor. Sport is the reason that bring those two together, and oh, The twin are currently 6 years old.
• His name is actually for female. People always tease about his feminine name, however despite of all that, he's very proud of having it.
• Mao have stage fright- however it doesn't really show since he able to get through action. (until when he started to speak)
• He usually sings or hums when he's bored- often accompany with silly dancing in the middle of the court (before the match started)
• Whenever he have free time, he usually either trying to pick up girls or doing karaoke other than practising.
• He is pansexual. (However, he has no interest on making more than friendship)
  
• If he get nervous and If you hit it right, he started to make a lot of hand gestures and become very pessimistic. 
• He has lack of vocabulary and bad pronunciation. He usually refer to his phone whenever he need to understand that certain word. 
• He love playing game as well. People however often make him play horror game and make him scream every time.
• He used to be so scared of everything- even playing rpg game make him rage quit.
• He has quite slow reaction when come to jumpscare. Wait for 2-3 second and he started to scream.
• Even though he hates horror- any visual horror, he likes reading (due to ^ he can't really imagine the words visually and also he won't bother to refer to dictionary because he's just that scready cat)
• He has serious issue with Maede, who is his childhood friend- since they always after the same thing or like the same thing so he ended up competing him more than anything else.
• The reason he has good game sense because of his father taught him to visualize himself into the match whenever they watch sport programme together.
  
• He keep two small hamsters as pet ,their name are Surimi(meat) and squid. (idek why)
• He hate his long bang so he usually either slick it back or clipped/tied it up / pigtailed/ well a lot. For most of the time, he just tied it up like small horn and casually wear  that kind of hairstyle anywhere. (people often make fun of it because it's look odd)
• He prefer his first name as Maori. However, People usually call him Mao instead.
• He's actually quite a serious person back in middle school but somehow went fully retarded jk i loe u mao to his childish self.
• Mao usually seen with patch on his left cheek. Rumor said the girls always slapped him because of his fabulous face Casanova/womanizer's personality.

• Takanari Ruri / Ryouta : Younger siblings. Fraternal twins.  
• Kondou Maede: a.k.a Mari, Mai, Mary-chan. Childhood/ Best Butt friend, whom Mao constantly dragging him around as his meat shield.
• Daiki Shota : //casually keeping him shh. Mao called loli-go (shortform of loli ichigo) because of his height and pink hair np.
  
• Tadashi Akira : The dorks and often compete against each other in the court not a problem. a.k.a hair clip buddies.
  
• Arashiken Shurei : tba
